Through changing exhibits and hands-on activities, residents can learn about the City’s long-range vision, share their perspectives, and play a meaningful role in guiding the decisions that will influence Laramie for years to come. Whether you stay for a few minutes or dive deep into the displays, your voice helps forge what comes next.

The first display will run through 2/6. The second display will be 2/11 - 3/6 and the third display will be 3/11 through the end of March.

Hours/Schedule:

Wednesday from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Thursday from 2:00 - 5:00 pm

Friday from 8:00 - 11:00 am.

Or call (307) 721-5207 to set up an appointment that works with your life schedule. Students and larger groups of up to around 30 people are also welcome.

The Pilot Run area features a wide, scenic landscape with just enough varied terrain to keep things interesting. As winds move through the area, litter tends to collect in the trees and open fields—making this an ideal spot for a light cleanup while soaking in the natural beauty Laramie has to offer.

Use this link to view a map of the area. Because of the site’s size, please be sure to contact Code Enforcement at 307-721-5285 before beginning and when finished. Code Enforcement will provide cleanup bags and handle transporting the filled bags to the landfill.

Once finished, place all filled bags in the designated parking location shown on the map.

This site is located adjacent to the Laramie River. Use extreme caution at all times, as the area contains steep and slippery terrain. Remain vigilant and aware of your surroundings. This volunteer activity requires a minimum of two individuals on site. Volunteers must contact the Code Enforcement Inspector at (307) 721-5285 prior to entering the site.

This volunteer opportunity focuses on cleaning up windblown litter in the open fields near 22nd and Harney Street. The area includes a dog park, which would also benefit from the removal of pet waste to create a cleaner, more inviting space for the community to enjoy. Your efforts will help enhance the overall appearance and usability of this popular neighborhood spot.  Follow this map link for a look at the area.

Winters in Laramie can mean cold weather, that famous Wyoming wind, and heaps of snow. Many citizens of Laramie struggle to maintain their driveways and sidewalks during this time of the year and could use a helping hand. If you want to help keep our citizens safe and help those who may not be able to shovel snow themselves, this opportunity is for you!

Winter weather can be unpredictable, and unfortunately there is no set schedule for snow. This opportunity will be a flexible opportunity, with locations needing snow shoveling being updated as requests come in. If you would like to participate in this volunteer opportunity, please respond to this opportunity and the City will reach out to work out where you can provide your valuable time and effort to help those in need. 

The City of Laramie has a limited supply of snow shovels that can be loaned to volunteers during the Winter months.
